Nami danam che manzil bood shab jae k mann boodum [Khusro]

The initial poetry was (manam mehve khayal e oo) written by Bu Ali Qalandar and was sung separately by Nusrat Khan sahib, so it will be posted separately.

lyrics and translation:

Nami danam che manzil bood shab jae k mann boodum
(I wonder what was the place where I was last night)

ba harr soo raqs-e-bismil bood shab jae k mann boodam
(all around me were half slaughtered victims of love, tossing in agony)

pari paikar nigar-e-sarvakadday lalaa rukhsaraay
(there was a nymph like beloved with cypress like form and tulip like face)

saraapa aafat-e-dil, bood shabb jae k mann boodam
(ruthlessly playing havoc with the hearts of the lovers)

raqeeban gosh barr awaaz, oo darr naaz o mann tarsaaan
(the enemies were ready to respond, he was attracting, i was dreading)

sukhan guftam che mushkil bood shab jae k mann boodam
(it was too difficult to speak out there where I was last night)

Khuda khud meer-e-majlis bood andar la makan Khusro
(God Himself is the master of the ceremonies held in the heavenly court)

Muhammad(p.b.u.h) shamme mehfil bood shabb jae k mann boodam
(O Khusro, where (the face of) the Prophet (p.b.u.h) too was shedding like a candle)
