A Persian kalam written by moulana Rumi and recited by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
The poetry and the translation goes as follows:
shad bashe ishq khush sodaye maa
(hail love that brings happiness)
ae tabeeb-e-jumla illat haye maa
(the physician of all our ills)
jism khak az ishq barr aflak shud
(the earthly body reaches the skies due to love)
koh dar raqs amad-o-chalaak shud
(the mountains dance and come alive)
aqal amad deen-o-dunya shud kharab
(rationality ruins both this world and hereafter)
ishq amad darr-o-aalam kaamyaab
(love comes and makes both worlds success)
zindagi amad barae bandagi
(live's purpose is divine devotion)
zindagi, bebandagi, sharmindagi
(life without devotion, embarrassment)
